Warm Up Exercises

Warm Up Exercises can help prevent injury to the body by:

  • increasing blood flow to the tissues
  • making muscles more supple
  • priming your neurological pathways
  • preparing the heart and circulation.

If you have any concerns as to whether any of these exercises are suitable for you please contact us for advice.

They can be performed individually or as a routine and you can adjust the number of repetitions to suit your body. Start with at least 10 and build up from there.

If you are going on to do strenuous activity you will need to stretch you muscles once you are warm.
